Private leadership advisory for C-suite and senior leaders
THE CLARITY TO LEAD FROM
I work with leaders when a bigger role, a difficult team dynamic or a high-stakes decision requires them to lead differently.
Crina Ancuta - Founder & Leadership Advisor
I have made the calls I now advise on.
At this level, the problem in front of you is not always the one holding back the situation.
A decision stalls, and the real question can be who has not yet lined up behind it.
A senior team underperforms. The constraint may sit in the relationships between the people around the table, not in the organisational chart or individual expertise.
A capable leader stops having the impact they used to. The source can be how they are leading, the context around them, or the interaction between the two.
Sometimes the shift is less obvious. What made you valuable was that you could be relied on to solve problems, take responsibility and get things done. The role now asks for things you have done less of: building alignment, influencing the people who matter, getting decisions made through others.
Most leaders feel this gap long before they can put it into words.
That is where I start.
Clarity before action
I came to advisory from your side of the table.
My judgment comes from having led in the situations I now advise on. Twenty years of senior leadership, across local, regional and global roles.
I have carried full P&L responsibility as a General Manager and set global commercial strategy for a £600M portfolio. I coordinated the response when a regulatory shutdown at a supplier put two thirds of global sales at risk. I led an operating company through an industry-wide ethics crisis it had stayed clear of.
I know what it takes to deliver the numbers, lead the team and align senior stakeholders at the same time.
What I bring now is the rigour and business judgement of someone who has run the business, together with a deep understanding and the ability to strengthen the human dynamics that shape its performance.
I help senior leaders see what is really happening beneath the issue in front of them.
That means looking at the role, the relationships and the business context together, not as separate problems.
I bring an outside perspective, challenge the assumptions that are holding you back and give you a clear recommendation on what needs to change.
Sometimes that means changing how you lead. Sometimes it means changing how a critical relationship is handled, how alignment is built, or how a decision is turned into action across the organisation.
The work is advisory, not coaching. I do not stop at the questions, I tell you what I see and what I would do next, so you can decide and act with greater clarity.
What changes
One leader stepped into a critical role after the organisation’s preferred external candidate had declined it. The organisation was not sure she could operate at the level the role required.
The work was the shift from delivering herself to leading through others. Within the year she rebuilt her department from an empty org chart to a team of eighty, delivered the transformation in full, and steered a major operational crisis to a solution senior management agreed to.
After four sessions, her HR director told me she made amazing progress.
How the work unfolds
We start by looking past the problem as first presented and testing what is actually driving it.
From there, the work stays close to what you are actually carrying. You bring what is live. I help you see it clearly, pressure-test the options, and land on what to do next.
The relationship is direct: you work with me from start to finish, with no handover.
Everything we discuss stays between us. Where a company sponsors the work, we agree goals and reporting up front, and the content of our conversations stays confidential.
Start with one conversation
If any of these situations feel familiar, the first step is a private conversation.
Nothing to prepare, nothing to decide in advance. We talk through what is happening, and I tell you whether I can help and what I would suggest first. Sometimes that conversation is all it takes.
If there is a fit, we go from there.
